Who we are

PropFirmMonitor is an independent research site that compares prop trading firms, their rules, prices and offers. This policy explains what information is processed when you use propfirmmonitor.com. Questions can be sent through the channels on our contact page.

What we collect

You can use the site without an account, and we don’t ask for your name, email or payment details. We process:

• Analytics data, only if you accept analytics cookies: pages viewed, approximate location (country/city), device and browser type, referrer, and interactions such as searches, offer clicks, promo code copies and tool usage.
• Technical logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address and request time) to keep the site secure and working.
• Your choices stored in your own browser, such as your cookie preference.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and tools are useful. The Google tag runs in Consent Mode: analytics cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) are only set after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner. Until then, and if you decline, no analytics cookies are stored; Google may receive cookieless, identifier-free signals that it uses only for aggregate modelling. Advertising storage is always off.

We store your choice in your browser’s local storage under pfm-consent so we don’t ask on every visit. Strictly necessary storage like this doesn’t need consent.

Affiliate links

Some links to prop firms are affiliate links. When you click one, the firm (or its affiliate platform) may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase to us. Those cookies are governed by the firm’s own privacy policy. We don’t receive your personal or payment details from firms. See our affiliate disclosure.

Why we process data

Analytics is based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. Security and hosting logs are based on our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website.

Sharing and transfers

We share data only with the services that run the site: our hosting provider and, with your consent, Google Analytics. These providers may process data outside your country under their own safeguards. We don’t sell personal data.

Retention

Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months in Google Analytics. Hosting logs are kept only as long as the provider needs them for security and operations.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete personal data, object to or restrict processing, and complain to your local data protection authority. Since we don’t hold accounts, most data can simply be removed by declining analytics and clearing your browser storage. For any request, reach us through the contact page.
